The Cyle of Life Shanghai 2011
These 4 works of art represent the 4 seasons on the one hand and on the other hand they are intended to illustrate life itself. So each artwork can be seen as a separate work of art, but also as a whole belonging to the cycle of life.
Part 1 is painted in the colour yellow, which is intended to represent the beginning of life. The title is ‘The Beginning’
Part 2 is painted in green and represents the mirror of our time in our own lives and gives us hope. The title is: ‘The Mirror’
Part 3 represents our life force, which is depicted in blue and can therefore be equated with the steady flow of water, which accompanies us throughout our lives and we cannot live without water. The title is: ‘The Energy’
Part 4 is intended to illustrate the finiteness of life and if we get the chance to preserve our nature, it could lead to a renewal of life and the cycle starts all over again with Part 1... The title is: "The End?"
Part 4 is painted in red.
